This hands-on masterclass will provide senior leaders with the tools they need to communicate effectively to their teams and the wider organisation. Tailored to the needs of each individual, the session provides one-to-one advice and coaching on effective people communications, support in message creation and delivery, as well as a takeaway toolkit.
A half-day training session that will help participants to:
Define the story of their presentation, objectives and key messages
Create content that will resonate with their key audiences
Tailor their presentation to different audiences and environments
Develop and deliver a compelling presentation
Designed for senior leaders that are required to speak regularly at internal events and conferences, this half-day training session provides participants with the opportunity to explore how they can develop, design and deliver presentations that will really resonate with their people. A mixture of both theory and practical exercises, this session will be tailored to the individual to help them find a presentation approach and style that is authentic to them.
02. Internal Communications Training for Teams
A full-day intensive, hands-on workshop, which covers:
Objectives: what is the business trying to achieve through its internal communications? What does success look like?
Current perceptions: what do people think and feel about internal communications within their business currently? What are these perceptions based upon?
Audience mapping: identify the organisation’s different internal audiences and their communications preferences and requirements
Review of existing communications channels: what is and isn’t working, what can be done differently. Barriers and opportunities
Content scoping: review of activity and initiatives coming down the track aligned to content requirements
Messaging: identifying current messaging in place and additional requirements
At the end of the session, teams will receive a summary of the key outputs and recommendations from the day as well as a toolkit containing templates for internal communications.
03. External Communications Training for Teams and Individuals
A bespoke training and coaching session that provides:
Training on a specific topic, issue, or to prepare for an upcoming interview
Making the most of a media opportunity through key message development
Two practice interview scenarios, including review and feedback
Tailored coaching based on specific needs
Designed for managers and senior leaders, this training and coaching session provides hands-on advice and coaching for people that are looking to develop their media interview skills. Tailored to the individual, the training session will provide both the theory and practical behind successful media interviews before giving them the opportunity to practice their newly developed skills!
This two-hour session explores how to effectively manage a crisis from a communications perspective. It looks at:
The importance of creating a crisis management framework
The three stages of a crisis and how to manage them
Dealing with the media (including social channels) during an issue or crisis
Managing multiple stakeholders
Helpful do’s and don’ts
Designed for in-house communications and marketing teams, this course delves into the different stages of a crisis and how to plan and communicate effectively throughout the lifecycle of a crisis. It looks at how you can stop an issue from snowballing as well as issues management strategies to help protect hard-won reputations.
04. Practical Training for SMEs
A two-hour online interactive workshop that will explore how to:
Define tangible PR objectives
Develop a clear PR strategy and plan
Create stand-out PR campaigns
Measure activity and evaluate results
Designed for small to medium businesses that want to understand the key ingredients of successful PR activity, this online workshop will provide attendees with a clear understanding of how to develop a practical PR strategy that’s right for their business. It will provide participants with practical tools to take back to their business and how to the evaluate the success of a PR campaign.
